Subscription Fees Clarification

SUBSCRIPTION FEES:

I have just been asked for clarification on the Subscription Fees for Season 2015/17

The Signing on fee is £75 as notified to Managers at the AGM. Where there is a sibling within the club, the fees are as follows:

1st Child -£75
2nd Child – £50

If payments are made by cheque this can be done in one payment, of either £75 or £125 (for siblings) with a request that either a note is attached or on the rear of the cheque you clearly identify players names and respective age groups.

Please also remember to fully complete all forms and submit with 2 passport size photographs together with either a copy of Birth Certificate or Passport, as these are required by the respective leagues.

If you have any further queries do not hesitate to ask.

Thank You

Neil Hadley – Chairman

NOTE: Under 12 & Under 13 League Registration Forms have now been collected by me from The Express Cabs League at the AGM on Monday which was far more enjoyable than the England Game and will be issued at Training this week

New Treasurer Appointed

CHAIRMAN’S ANNOUNCEMENT – POSITION OF NEW TREASURER:

On behalf of the existing CFJFC Committee we are delighted to announce that following Ed McGrath decision at the Club AGM to stand down from his position as Treasurer we have now successfully appointed his replacement.

Paul Turner has been appointed to the position of Treasurer and will be responsible for this role whilst also dealing with his communications role involving the Website and the Newsletters. Paul is a welcome acquisition as Treasurer and will join The CFJFC Committee. He has been associated with the club for about 5 years with his son, Will, playing for what will next year be the Under 13s. Paul actually managed the team for one season a few years back.

Paul is welcomed by the existing committee (Neil, Martin & Kerry) to this position and will be an ideal replacement for Ed McGrath. We are confident that Paul with be  valuable assert to the club and the committee.

We will shortly be establishing a new email contact for Paul (cfjfctreasurer@btinternet.com) but in the meantime he can be contacted by his present address at cfjfcnews@btinternet.com

Paul said of his appointment “It feels good to be putting something back into the club that has given my son so much over the past few years. I am looking forward to working with the committee, the managers, coaches, volunteers and parents to ensure continued financial stability for the club.”

I am sure you would all like to join me in welcoming Paul to this position and don’t worry Lisa you will not become a football widow.

Congratulations & Good Luck

Neil Hadley – Chairman

Treasurer Wanted

image

As announced at the weekend the Role of Treasurer for CFJFC is now vacant and if anyone is interested in joining the Management Committee of CFJFC and taking on this position and working with such a wonderful Chairman ( haha) please let me know and I will forward the Role Profile.
It will be necessary to meet with The Chairman and Secretary initially and Ed McGrath our existing Treasurer has agreed to remain in the role if required till the start of next season, in September, to oversee the transition.

The role requires about 4-5 hours per week (although not every week) I believe.

If you are interested or know of anyone who may be, please let me know ASAP

Regards

Neil

AGM Votes Chair & Secretary In

image

The club’s AGM took place today, 21st May, at Coxheath Village Hall.

Both Neil, the chairman, and Martin the secretary were voted back in with great speed. Clearly a vote of confidence for our committee.

It was sad to hear that Ed, the treasurer, would be stepping down this season. He has kept the books in order for some years now and the club’s financial situation is much stronger for it. I am sure you will join the committee in thanking Ed for all the hard work he has put in over the past few years. This does now mean there is a vacancy to fill. There were no takers at the AGM so if you fancy this role, please speak to Neil or Martin. Have a read of the role requirement for further details.

On the issue of money, Neil proposed that subscriptions remain the same this season. This was voted in and so are fixed at the £75, with discounted rate for siblings.

The chairman gave his report, followed by the secretary who explained the club’s intention for a Five Year Strategic Plan and I will bring you further details as they are released.

A small working group was formed to deal with the issue of pitches, suggested by under 11s coach Andy. They will have a look at the pitches in use, what improvements need to be made and also approaching the Parish Council for negotiations.

The club’s new constitution was vote in. This was needed to comply with the Charter Standard status awarded to the club in March.

Various other discussions took place around pitches and teams for next season. All in all, a well attended meeting. Thank you to those who came along to support the club.
