After their success in the Spring Trophy a few weeks ago, the players received their well deserved trophies.

As you can see from the photo above, they are one happy team.

Well done to all the Under 10s and well done to Graham and his coaching team.

Here’s to many more successes.

Under 10s give spirited performance

A really spirited performance from the boys today. The pace of the game and ability of both teams made for a great game of football. Unfortunately lady luck didnt shine on us today and at half time we were 2-0 down. But after a spirited fight back we were at 2-1 with 8 minutes to go.

Unfortunately a few scrappy goals at the end sealed our fate. As coaches we were pleased with the effort the boys put in today and at times the football was great to watch. We’ll knuckle down now for next season challenge of 9 a-side which we are all greatly looking foward to.

Good luck to all the Coxheath teams through to the next round.

Under 12s secure another convincing win

Vinters Rangers (0) vs Coxheath (5)

Another inspiring 2nd half performance from these boys today, rising above all the banter and comments from the side lines and letting their football do the talking. Well done to the entire squad you really have excelled this season and once again there was a number of Man of The Match performances by several players, including what will probably go down as ” The Goal of The Season”, which made the awards at the end of the game a very close run thing.

This victory means that this group of boys will now achieve there highest ever league finish and extended the long unbeaten run !!

Under 11s keep it exciting for extra time win.

Match report under 11s Challenge Shield 17/04/16

Vs Borstal under 11s
Venue Coxheath Village Hall

Result Full time 3 – 3 won 5 – 3 set

Wow . .what a game and can’t take too many like this. With a full side and With players returning after injury, the team were superb. We dominated the first half being three nil up at half time with good performances all over the pitch, scoring a long range effort and two more. However with a few changes we lost our shape, got a bit complacent and with the opponents upping their game we shipped 3 goals without reply forcing the game to extra time. With a reminder of what we needed to achieve we play superbly in extra time scoring two great team goals, one each for again for two of our players and controlling the game and the result never looked in doubt. No one player should be picked out as everyone did well but one of the scorers deserved the man of the match plaudits.

Well done to all and into the semis we go.

Under 9s win against Hartley de Sale

Under 9s Consolation Trophy 16/04/16
Coxheath under 9s vs Hartley de Sales under 9s
Venue Coxheath Village Hall

Result Won 3 – 0

Really enjoyable particularly as we won ! Boys played really well with a majority share of the possession. With a strong defensive display we kept a clean sheet with the other team having very few chances. Good performance from all players in the team capped off by a hat trick from One of the boys who shows how much he will be missed when he moves on next season. Man of the match went to the player who showed his willingness to play on pitch and in goal.

We march on with Range Rovers in the semi final

Under 9 Colts reach semi finals.

image

A huge well done to the Under 9s Colts for reaching the semi-finals. After two games of amazing free flowing football they won against Kings Hill 2-1. The team played some great football, lots of passing and the effort by every single one of the boys was outstanding. The wood work stopped the score from being a lot higher and prevented a couple of great long range shots hitting the back of net. The player who received the man of the match award gave what can only be described as a ‘Terry Butcher’ effort in defence with some brave last ditch tackles. The whole team put in 110% effort and wanted to be first to every ball and battled for every tackle.Well done boys and good luck for the next round.
