Job: Coach

Paul Golding

I been coaching since 2003initially for Bearsted FC. And I passed  my F A Level 1Coaching Badge  in 2005 and my level 2badge  in 2009.

My first two years was spent coaching my son’s team where we went unbeaten in two years, and were successful in winning the league and both league cup and Kent cup.  I left coaching at Bearsted FC when  my son was picked to play for Charlton Athletic at Youth Level and subsequently  joined Soccer Elite, where I assisted the head coaches Lee Spiller and Tony Brown with taking young players to play the various age levels at Crystal Palace, West Ham Utd, Tottenham Hotspurs to name but a few.

It was at this point that I re-joined Bearsted FC to become head coach for the academy overlooking years R, 1 and 2 and helped coach the new coaches with just over 160 boys and girls. Owing to my son’s progression and football development I and Bearsted, I went into semi –retirement, not due to age I would add.

After a break I joined Coxheath & Farleigh JFC, initially helping the then Chairman (Chris Endersby), with the Academy before taking it over for a period of two years, before leaving once again to help my brother run his ladies team.

It was at my Father’s 70th birthday party that I met Graham Butler the current U10’s Manager, and the rest is history, and returned to coaching and now assist Graham full time with this year’s U10’s.
